Hier findet ihr diverse Dinge, dann geht ihr hinten raus, nach rechts und in das nĂ€chste Haus links rein. Lest auf dem Schreibtisch den Flyer , Artefakt 1 / 10 "Kommt zur WLF" Notiz, dann öffnet die TĂŒr in die WĂ€scherei, wo ihr auch ein paar Sachen - auch im Automaten, den ihr einschlagen könnt - findet. Dann geht raus auf die Straße. GegenĂŒber hinter dem Van habt ihr das nĂ€chste GeschĂ€ft, einen Bekleidungsladen mit Schaufensterpuppen. Durchsucht die Schubladen, dann geht hinter den Tresen und schaut an die Seite zur Wand, wo ihr ein Loch findet. Kriecht rein und ihr könnt erst mal die TĂŒr nach oben öffnen, dann geht in den Keller, wo ihr Massen an Zeugs findet und vor allem auch eine Werkbank 1 / 2. Schaut euch die goldenen BogenschĂŒtzenstatue in der Ecke links an, dann schaut euch die Artefakt 2 Zeichnung von Boris Tochter auf dem Tisch an. Habt ihr alles, geht es raus und ihr könnt euch das vierte Haus angucken, "Madrona Baker". Hier gibt es ein zwei Sachen im Hinterzimmer, aber nichts Spannendes. Geht zum Ende der Straße und klettert auf den Van, um in den nĂ€chsten Bereich zu kommen. Lasst euch fallen und lauft nach links in die BĂŒsche, den Abhang runter und klettert dann rechts die Klippe hoch. Zerstört die Scheibe von "Caroline Paper" und steigt ein. Ihr findet ein paar Ressourcen und Munition, in der Mitte liegt auf dem Tisch die Artefakt 3/ 10 "Wir brauchen einen Plan" Notiz. Dann findet ihr hinter dem Tresen in einer Box an der Wand auch Sammelkarte 2 / 5 Superheldenkarte Sahir The Sorcerer. Geht zurĂŒck wie ihr kamt, dann haltet euch links, wo ihr einen Buchladen - "Used and Rare Books" als erstes findet. Auf dem Tresen liegt Artefakt 4 / 10 Yolandas Brief. Geht ein Haus weiter, schaut euch das verunstaltete WLF-Banner an, um einen Tagebucheintrag 1 / 1 zu bekommen, dann geht in den Coffeeshop. Die guten Sachen liegen in der KĂŒche, aber die ist verschlossen. Geht stattdessen nach hinten links in Bad und klettert durch den LĂŒftungsschacht in die KĂŒche. Hier findet ihr nĂŒtzliche Dinge. Verlasst die KĂŒche und dann den Shop durch die HintertĂŒr. Springt ĂŒber den Zaun und klettert die Leiter hoch. Über das mit Stacheldraht gesicherte Dach geht es nach links und dann springt ĂŒber die MetalltrĂ€ger nach unten. Ihr stoßt auf eine WLF-Patrouille und lernt die Hunde kennen. Hunde lassen sich nicht so leicht austricksen und es geht vor allem darum die FĂ€hrte lange genug zu unterbrechen, dass der Hund euch verliert. Auch wenn es nicht viel Sinn macht, Ihr seht die FĂ€hrte in der "Lausch"-Sicht, wenn ihr R1 haltet. Schleicht euch rechts durch die KĂŒche nach draußen und hinter das Auto rechts. Ihr solltet jetzt weit genug sein, dass der Hund die FĂ€hrte verloren hat. Klettert durch die Wand dahinter, dann schleicht durch den Shop und durch die Seite geht es durch den Spalt in der Wand in den nĂ€chsten Laden. Duckt euch hinter dem Tisch gleich links und wartet auf die WLF-Soldatin, die hier hereinkommt. Zieht sie hinter den Tisch, damit sie nicht von der Straße zu sehen ist. Wenn euch das gelingt habt ihr jetzt Ruhe und könnt euch, wenn ihr es richtig timed, weiterschleichen, die Straße runter. Ihr mĂŒsst dafĂŒr nicht mal die Frau umbringen. Das wĂ€re sogar der richtige Weg, bei dem ihr euch weiter auf dieser Seite nach hinten zu der roten DoppeltĂŒr schleicht. Benutzt die Ziegelsteine, wenn ihr euch nĂ€hert, um die Gegner dort in eine andere Richtung zu schicken, wĂ€hrend ihr durchschlĂŒpft. Aber wenn ihr alles in der Gegend looten wollt - viel gibt es nicht und nichts Wichtiges -, dann kommt ihr um einen Kampf nicht herum und jeder Gegner weniger zĂ€hlt, schließlich könnt ihr Hunde nicht ĂŒberraschen. Was ihr bei Hunden aber tun könnt ist ihren Halter mit einer SchalldĂ€mpfer-Pistole erledigen. Die Hunde stehen danach etwas perplex herum, wĂŒrden euch aber immer noch angreifen. Aber das ist immer noch einfacher als ein auf euch gehetzter Hund. Ansonsten seht zu, dass ihr einen EinzelgĂ€nger mit oder ohne Hund mit dem SchalldĂ€mpfer erwischt, dann bewegt euch leise ein gutes StĂŒck weiter. Nutzt dafĂŒr die LĂŒcken in den HĂ€userwĂ€nden. Habt ihr eine Position, guckt, wen ihr von hier leise erwischen könnt. Sobald es dann zum offenen Kampf kommt, haltet die Schrotflinte bereit, sie ist sehr effektiv fĂŒr Hunde. Es gibt nichts Nervigeres als beschossen zu werden, wĂ€hrend ein Hund an euch knabbert... Sind alle tot, heißt es looten. Naughty Dog’s latest masterpiece, The Last of Us Part II, is an incredibly violent game. Without getting into spoilers, it’s a revenge story in which the main character, Ellie, can brutally take out enemies who stand in her way. Not all of them are human, though. Some are infected creatures that are mutated with a strain of the Cordyceps fungus. While you probably won’t feel bad for killing those enemies, you might want to avoid eliminating the various dogs you come across. Vicious enemy dogs have been featured in video games before, but they’re particularly realistic in The Last of Us Part II, making it tougher to justify killing them, even if they’re attacking you. Luckily, you don’t actually have to kill the dogs you encounter. This is a stealth game, after all, so you can sneak by them if you know what you’re doing. But why? How to sneak past dogs Let’s face it — we’ve been killing other humans in video games since the medium’s inception. That’s why we don’t really bat an eye when we’re tasked with taking them out, even in a realistic game like The Last of Us Part II. But, give us the option to do the same with dogs, and it’s a different story. The nice thing is that you can avoid killing all dogs in the game, except for one. Unfortunately, there is an unskippable interaction with a dog early on, in which you must complete a quick-time event to take it out. This might be too much for some to handle — and understandably so. If you can get past that, though, every dog thereafter can be avoided. The dogs work similarly to the humans and infected, in that you must be quiet to avoid them. However, dogs have the ability to track your scent, so simply being quiet isn’t good enough. You have to distract them. It’s recommended to always have a bottle or brick on you, which can be collected throughout the world. If you see a dog and its owner, throw a brick or bottle toward them, but not at them. This is important because the idea is to distract them, not draw them toward you. If you hit the dog or person with the item you threw, they’ll be alerted to your location, which is not what you want. Instead, aim for the area around them, particularly away from your destination. As long as you remain hidden and keep your distance while you throw items, the dogs won’t track you down. It’s also important to know that you can press and hold R1 to enter listen mode, which highlights nearby enemies. It also reveals your scent, as indicated by a trail leading from the dog to Ellie. You’ll want to constantly check this when a dog is in range to tell if they’re onto you. Sometimes, no matter how hard you try, you’ll end up alerting a dog. If this happens, you have a few options. The easiest thing to do is restart the checkpoint. The Last of Us Part II uses an autosave system that saves relatively often, so going back a few minutes isn’t a huge issue. You can do this from the pause menu. If you don’t want to risk losing anything to go back to the last save, then you can do the same thing you’d do if you encountered a dog in real life—run. Though, this method might be a lot harder to execute than you’d expect, depending on the layout of the area. If you’re lucky, you can run to the objective without being stopped by an enemy, but a lot of times, this isn’t possible. If the dog gets close to you, you’ll need to press L1 to dodge out of the way, though timing it right during the heat of battle can be tricky. If you’re able to climb, you can jump onto a car or other high object so you’ll be out of reach of the dog while still targeting other enemies in the game. Again, whether this is possible depends on where you are concerning your goal. If a dog grabs you, you’ll need to mash the square button to shake it off. Some dogs can do a lot of damage, so if your health was already less than stellar, you might not survive the attack. Just like in the first game, there are a ton of safes to open up here, and they’re usually a good source of resources and supplies that will make your journey a little easier. Here’s what the Hillcrest auto shop safe combination is in The Last of Us 2. The Last of Us 2 Hillcrest Safe Combination When you reach Seattle Day 2, Ellie will venture into the Hillcrest neighborhood, where you’ll find a bicycle shop and a tattoo parlor called Velvet Tattoos. Cut through the parlor to find a garage, which is where the Hillcrest safe is located. However, finding the note that contains the combination is a little trickier. Head back to the street and enter the pet shop directly opposite of the tattoo parlor. Inside the shop, look for a hole in the wall and go through it, which should lead you into a bar. Head into the kitchen and check the wall for a note pinned to it. The note will give you the following combination 30-82-65. Enter that combination into the Hillcrest safe back at the auto shop and you’ll be rewarded with the short gun holster, along with more ammo and resources. It’s worth noting that even if you do miss the short gun holster here, it’s still possible for you to get it later on in the chapter, so you don’t have to worry about that. However, it’s still an incredibly useful item to have on you, so you’ll definitely want to hit up this safe if possible.
